Prairie Grove Pound

Friends of Prairie Grove Pound provides supplemental services to the City of Prairie Grove for the City Pound. We are an incorporated non-profit group that provides volunteer maintenance, operational and fundraising services that support the City Pound. While we do team with other groups for special events and projects, our primary focus is to assist with daily pound facility operations, care for the impounded animals, re-home adopt-able animals and raise funds that will allow the City of Prairie Grove to further grow and improve the animal services offered to residents.

We transport, when needed, to the Lester C. Howick Animal Shelter of Washington County and pre-approved out of state rescues.
